In the summer of 2008, one of
us had the idea at a party. "What
if we did like a battle of the bands style gig, right, but similar to
an already popular annual format where different parts of a unified
larger region battle it out against each other?" Everyone else at the party was very impressed, and so we decided to give it a go, see if it works. Hopefully it should be some fun. And that's what we're all about. It'll take place on Saturday 28th March 2009at the superfine and proper historic MK music venue The Pitz. Twenty bands, one night. The prospect of some fun is indeed in the air. The bands have been settled upon and it's all downhill from here! ;-) This project has been created, planned and executed by members of Milton Keynes Arts Collective Monkey Kettle and some of their friends.
